Portland, Ore Jan 19 – WR Ellis, who represented the Second Oregon district four terms in the national house of representatives, beginning with 1892, died yesterday of cerebral hemorrhage. He was a native of Montgomery County, Indiana and an alumnus of the University of Iowa, Class of 1874. – transcribed by kbz
